A  project for architecture studio that is a response to the changing demographic and urban makeup of Claremont, a suburb in Perth,  in 2050.

Utilising an understanding of what the future may hold for certain parts of the city, the proposal acknowledges future concerns of productivity, food, water security and land availability. The solution to provide accessible public space which also offers intimate experiences is identified through the relationship between active, passive and discovery zones. The intermingling of these three aspects creates a scheme which gives well scaled public thresholds whilst ensuring the Leisureplex exists as more than just a place for pleasure.
